• Case Scope: OB, peds, regional, vascular, and outpatient surgery (B&B focus).
• Clinical Structure: Direct management of 30% of your own cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage anesthesia care safely for a diverse range of surgical, vascular, and obstetrical procedures.
• Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia patient evaluations and develop individualized, safe anesthetic plans.
• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC) utilizing current techniques.
• Monitor patient vital signs closely intraoperatively to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical conditions.
• Manage emergence from anesthesia and oversee recovery care within the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU).
• Collaborate seamlessly with surgeons, nursing staff, and administrative teams to support efficient facility workflows.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license in the state of Massachusetts (or immediate eligibility for licensure).
• Strong clinical skills across general surgery, OB, pediatrics, vascular, and regional anesthesia blocks.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
