An established private practice group in northern Illinois, located near the Rockford metropolitan area, is seeking dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) for full-time and part-time job openings. Operating with high clinical independence, CRNAs deliver comprehensive anesthesia care across an expansive variety of surgical encounters. - Call Schedule: 1:7 call rotation with a guaranteed post-call day off.
- Shift Flexibility: Part-time and full-time tracks available with Overtime (OT) opportunities.
- Candidate Requirements: Experienced CRNAs are preferred, but Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists (SRNAs) nearing graduation will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide autonomous general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC) for B&B surgical procedures, including outpatient and inpatient encounters.
- Administer obstetric anesthesia, managing labor epidurals, spinal anesthesia, and Cesarean section care.
- Deliver safe pediatric anesthesia care for routine pediatric surgical and outpatient procedures.
- Perform ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia techniques and peripheral nerve blocks for orthopedic and acute pain cases.
- Conduct pre-anesthesia patient evaluations and develop customized, evidence-based anesthetic plans.
- Monitor intraoperative vital signs continuously, adjusting anesthetic management dynamically to ensure optimal patient safety.
- Oversee patient recovery in the PACU and maintain meticulous electronic health record (EHR) documentation.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program (Master’s or Doctorate).
- Current certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA); SRNAs nearing graduation and board eligibility are welcome to apply.
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) / CRNA licenses in the State of Illinois (or eligible to obtain prior to start).
- Active Federal DEA registration and Illinois Controlled Substances license.
- Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
