Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage anesthesia safely for a diverse range of surgical and obstetrical procedures.
  • Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia patient assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
  • Monitor patient vital signs closely intraoperatively to ensure maximum safety and comfort.
  • Provide effective emergence and post-anesthesia care within the recovery unit.
  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and complete electronic clinical records.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with surgeons, nursing staff, and anesthesia colleagues to support efficient facility workflows.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia and current national certification by the NBCRNA (or exam eligibility for final-year SRNAs).
  • Valid, unrestricted license to practice as an advanced practice registered nurse in the state of Connecticut (or immediate eligibility for licensure).
  • Strong clinical skills across the general surgical spectrum; proficiency in advanced regional blocks is highly valued.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Compensation and Benefits

Full-Time positions

  • Annual Salary: $255,000+ on a W-2 basis (commensurate with experience and chosen call track).
