Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC) for scheduled and emergency outpatient and inpatient cases.
Perform pre-anesthesia patient evaluations, review medical histories, and formulate individualized anesthetic management plans.
Deliver safe obstetric anesthesia coverage, including labor epidurals and Cesarean section management.
Manage pediatric anesthesia care for routine general surgical and outpatient procedures.
Execute ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks for orthopedic and acute pain cases.
Continuously monitor intraoperative vital signs and adjust anesthetic delivery dynamically to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Oversee patient emergence and provide post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) supervision.
Maintain complete, accurate, and timely electronic anesthesia medical records.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program.
Graduating Anesthesiology Residents are welcome and highly encouraged to apply.
Board Certification or active Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA).
Active, unrestricted New Jersey/New York medical license (or immediate eligibility for NY licensure).
Active Federal DEA registration and New York State Controlled Substance registration.
Active Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
