This is a premier full-time opening for a General Anesthesiologist looking for an exceptional, highly structured lifestyle schedule. The position features a 14 days on / 14 days off blocks schedule, giving you 26 weeks of complete personal freedom throughout the year.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and manage safe anesthesia care for a wide variety of surgical procedures, including general, orthopedic, robotic, and light obstetrical cases.
  • Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia patient evaluations and develop individualized anesthetic plans.
  • Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care utilizing current clinical techniques.
  • Monitor patient vital signs closely intraoperatively to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical conditions.
  • Manage emergence from anesthesia and provide appropriate post-anesthesia care.
  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and complete electronic medical records.
  • Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nursing staff, and administrative teams to optimize facility throughput.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license in the state of Pennsylvania (or immediate eligibility for licensure).
  • Strong clinical skills and comfort working across the specified case mix.

  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
