Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia for a wide-ranging caseload, including General Surgery and complex Cardiac cases.
  • Collaborate with a world-class surgical team to manage high-acuity cardiac patients.
  • Perform comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments and develop patient-specific anesthetic plans.
  • Monitor intraoperative hemodynamics and manage anesthetic depth for various surgical complexities.
  • Lead post-operative recovery transitions to ensure patient stability and safety.
  • Participate in call rotations (1:26 General; 1:6 Cardiac) with a focus on high-quality emergency response.

Qualifications

  • Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) and CRNA in the State of Michigan (or eligibility for licensure).
  • National certification by the NBCRNA.
  • SRNAs are welcome and highly encouraged to apply!
  • A strong interest or previous experience in Cardiac Anesthesia.
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure cardiac or trauma situations.
  • Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a physician-CRNA care team model.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Compensation and Benefits
