About the Practice

An established, high-efficiency multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center (ASC) located approximately one hour outside of Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking a precise, dependable Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist to support their surgical care lines. Designed for optimal patient throughput and high provider satisfaction, this state-of-the-art outpatient facility is equipped with modern anesthesia workstations and a highly collaborative perioperative nursing staff. The center focuses on low-acuity, specialized day surgeries, ensuring a streamlined and predictable clinical workflow.

Opportunity

This is a focused, premium-paying locum tenens opening perfect for an independent physician seeking a predictable, low-acuity outpatient caseload. The assignment centers entirely on ENT and Cosmetic procedures, with a strict requirement for pediatric proficiency to comfortably handle a steady volume of childhood ear, nose, and throat cases.

To ensure complete lifestyle predictability and absolute protection against clinical fatigue, the center enforces rigid scheduling parameters: completely no OB, no Orthopedics, no call, and no weekends required.

The daily case volume ranges from 10 to 15 cases per day moving through an efficient, synchronized room rotation. The work timeline follows standard, predictable daylight hours running precisely from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

For the June schedule, coverage is required on the 19th, 25th, 26th, and 29th. For the July schedule, coverage is required on the 1st, 2nd, 8th, 9th, 16th, 20th, 23rd, 27th, and 30th.

Whether you are navigating locum tenens registries via state of Georgia jobs, analyzing premium surgical coverage pipelines through jobs in Atlanta Georgia, or exploring targeted independent options for an anesthesiologist near me, this short-term ambulatory contract offers an ideal combination of top-tier hourly compensation and a highly protected, daytime-only routine.
