• Case Scope: Orthopedics, urology, gynecology, endoscopy, and general surgery (B&B focus).

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures.
• Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia patient assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
• Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic delivery as needed to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Provide safe and effective emergence and post-anesthesia care.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
• Participate equitably in a home call schedule.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts (or immediate eligibility for licensure).
• Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the NBCRNA, or eligibility to sit for the certification exam (for SRNAs).
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to safely manage anesthesia for the specified range of surgical cases.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

• Annual Salary: $250,000+ (W-2 basis, commensurate with experience).
