  • Case Mix: Vascular, Orthopedic, General Surgery, ENT, Endoscopy, Obstetrics (OB), Bariatric Surgery, Urology, GYN, and Neurosurgery (B&B focus).

Responsibilities

  • Provide and manage anesthesia for a diverse range of surgical and obstetrical procedures.
  • Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia patient evaluations and develop individualized anesthetic plans.
  • Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC) utilizing current techniques.
  • Continuously monitor patient vital signs and manage intraoperative anesthetic delivery.
  • Manage patient emergence and oversee safe transfer to appropriate post-anesthesia care units.
  • Participate equitably in the flexible call rotation, utilizing your post-call day off to recuperate.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely patient records.
  • Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nursing staff, and tech teams.

Qualifications

  • Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Kentucky (or immediate eligibility).
  • Certification as a CRNA by the NBCRNA, or eligibility to sit for the upcoming boards (SRNAs welcome).
  • Strong clinical skills and the comfort level required to manage a diverse, community-based case mix.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $250,000.
  • Sign-On Bonus: $25,000 upfront.
