About the Practice:

A dynamic and established anesthesia group in the Syracuse, New York area is seeking skilled and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for part-time and full-time opportunities. The group provides anesthesia services for a diverse range of cases across both adult and pediatric populations, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for their providers.

Opportunity:

This is an excellent opportunity for CRNAs to practice a broad spectrum of cases, encompassing both adult and pediatric patients. OB cases are not required. The position offers significant flexible schedule options, allowing CRNAs to choose between 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts to best suit their work-life balance. There is the added benefit of no call, nights, or weekends, ensuring a predictable and desirable schedule. Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists (SRNAs) are welcome to apply and gain valuable experience in a diverse clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide and manage anesthesia for a variety of surgical and procedural cases across adult and pediatric populations.
  • Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic patient assessments and develop individualized anesthetic plans.
  • Administer and monitor anesthesia safely and effectively, adapting techniques to the specific needs of adult and pediatric patients.
  • Manage patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU).
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all practice protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia.
  • Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
  • Valid and unrestricted New York RN license (or eligible for licensure).
  • Strong clinical skills in providing anesthesia for both adult and pediatric cases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists (SRNAs) in good standing are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • For full-time W2 positions, the group is offering a competitive salary range of $210,000 to $255,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
  • For locum tenens positions, a competitive hourly rate of $200+ per hour is offered.
