Key Responsibilities

  • Manage comprehensive anesthesia services for scheduled outpatient surgical procedures.
  • Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop case-specific anesthetic plans.
  • Administer general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC).
  • Continuously monitor patient vital signs intraoperatively to ensure optimal safety.
  • Oversee post-anesthesia recovery care in the PACU.
  • Maintain complete and compliant electronic anesthesia records.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and surgical center administration.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Successful completion of or current enrollment in an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program.
  • Graduating Anesthesiology Residents are welcome and encouraged to apply.
  • Board Certification or active Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology.
  • Active, unrestricted New Jersey Medical License (or eligible to obtain prior to start).
  • Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
