Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed, comprehensive initial patient evaluations—including meticulous histories and focused physical examinations—to accurately diagnose complex chronic and acute pain conditions.
  • Formulate and execute customized, multidisciplinary, and multimodal pain management treatment plans.
  • Perform a high volume of fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided interventional procedures, including facet joint injections, trigger point injections, and spinal cord stimulator (SCS) trials and implants.
  • Order, evaluate, and interpret appropriate diagnostic imaging modalities (MRI, CT, X-ray) and relevant clinical laboratory tests.
  • Collaborate dynamically with an integrated, multidisciplinary team of referring physicians, physical therapists, orthopedists, and neurosurgeons to ensure excellent continuity of care.
  • Maintain clear, complete, and legally compliant electronic health records (EHR) in accordance with practice protocols and healthcare guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Residency in Anesthesiology or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R).
  • Successful completion of (or active current enrollment in) an ACGME-accredited Pain Management Fellowship.
  • Board Certification or active Board Eligibility in Pain Management.
  • Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Nevada (or immediate eligibility for licensure).
  • Strong, demonstrated technical clinical skills across a diverse range of interventional pain procedures.
