This role is exclusively open to PM&R (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation) trained physicians who possess expertise in interventional pain techniques. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnoses of patients presenting with various acute and chronic pain conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized, multimodal treatment plans with a strong emphasis on interventional pain procedures (e.g., injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, etc.).
• Perform interventional procedures safely and effectively.
• Provide medication management for pain, as appropriate, adhering to best practices and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals within the practice and the broader community.
• Educate patients and their families about their pain conditions and treatment options.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Specialty: PM&R trained physicians only will be considered for this role.
• Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Management.
• Licensure: Valid and unrestricted South Carolina medical license (or eligible for licensure).
• Skills: Proficiency in a wide range of interventional pain management techniques.
• Interpersonal: Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills with a commitment to compassionate care.
