A prominent anesthesia group in the Battle Creek, Michigan area is seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join their team. Providing services for a Level 1 & Level 2 trauma center, this group is recognized for its robust clinical standards and highly collaborative care environment.

Opportunity

Immediate openings are available for both full-time and part-time CRNAs to manage a wide variety of surgical cases. This position offers an exceptional clinical experience with an advanced case mix including OB, peds, cardiac, and trauma, while completely excluding transplant procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and manage safe anesthesia care for a wide variety of cases, including obstetrics, pediatrics, cardiac, and trauma.
  • Operate effectively within high-acuity Level 1 & Level 2 trauma center environments.
  • Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Monitor patient vital signs closely intraoperatively to maintain maximum safety.
  • Oversee patient emergence and manage post-anesthesia recovery criteria.
  • Participate equitably in the group’s back-up call rotation.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with surgeons, nursing teams, and administrative staff to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) and CRNA in the state of Michigan (or immediate eligibility for licensure).
  • National certification by the NBCRNA (or eligibility for final-year SRNAs).
  • Strong clinical skills and comfort working across diverse, high-acuity case populations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, team-oriented, and communication skills.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Compensation and Benefits

Full-Time Positions

  • Annual Salary: $230,000 – $280,000 on a W-2 basis.
  • Time Off: Generous six (6) weeks of paid vacation.

Part-Time Positions

  • Hourly Rate: $260 per hour on a 1099 independent contractor basis.
